Geez louise, this is eerie... The recent fever attacking me for posting journals in friendster and multiply reminds me of this long lost and forgotten blogspot. Note the cheesy title and the broken english hehehe. Anywho, let me contemplate more about this journal thing. it's kinda embarrassing having this blank archive all over.
There's a lot been going on after the last post and the newest one. I have been married, i have lost the old job, find a new job, been to places i've just been able to dreamt on all those years, and many others. There's been a wtc collapse, there's been a war, infact two wars but not as big as the world war. Indonesia had change leadership twice after gus dur to mega and now perhaps sby. Manchester united has been the premier champions and lost it the following year to the arse. There's been several outstanding movies along the way like the Lord of The Rings trilogy. They decided to make the doomed sequels for The Matrix, and also the success of Harry Potter series. Hm i'll continue if i can think of any. For now i'll just leave you at that.
I've just heard about the passing of Sukma Ayu on Saturday 25 Sept 2004. After five month struggling in a comma. It was just this morning i saw a documentation about her being transported back to her home and that her condition is getting better. Quite moving really, this reminds me of my sister's passing two years ago. May she rest in peace, and may God forgive her for all the tresspasses she had done and give her the best place by His side.

ReplyDeleteAmien...
It was a bit hard to swallow all these media and entertainment house covering the event. Somehow i think that they are making a fortune out of somebody else's misery. I know it all comes with the territory of being a celebrities but i really thinks there should be an ethical conduct among the journalists and media for that matter.
ReplyDeleteFor God sake, it's not more than 24 hours and some money grabbing producers already tried to promote her last album and a tabloid advertise about the unplublished coverage of the late Sukma Ayu. Hm ... :(
I don't want to be in Roy Suryo shoes at the moment ... i wonder if he could show any remorse and lose any sleep at all from his famous 'expert' opinion fiasco.
no body was gonna know what was to come. being a celeb has a price, you must watch your steps and behaviour, because you'll always be in the spotlight.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a bitter story how the media goes to far and pushes further... just like Princess Diana... don't u think?
Yepp, that one is the worst case of how these paparazzi can do such terrible thing. I do realize though that probably it's only a small band of journalists without code and probably causing the same embarrassment to the whole profession.
